Hi there, we purchased a single license yesterday and tried to install it on a new Windows laptop but it has errors. We uninstalled it, then reinstalled it with the correct bit (64) but it still errored. Today, we realized that we only need the free Majestic connector for what we need to do. My colleague emailed info@seotoolsforexcel.com a few minutes ago and we're hoping we can get a refund.

Also, is there a tutorial on how to install the Majestic connector? We have a paid Majestic account. The first hurdle though is getting the Seo tools for Excel app to install without any errors. Can someone from support please reach out to me?

Hey, you did the right thing by emailing; maybe they will reach you in 2-3 days. For fixing the installation error, make sure the app is installed properly before you add the connector:

  1. Uninstall completely.

  2. Install the correct version.

  3. Run the installer as an administrator.

For installing the majestic connector, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the SEO tab in Excel.

  2. Click Connectors-Manage Connectors.

  3. Find Majestic in the list and click install.

  4. Then go to Connectors-Majestic-Settings and enter your Majestic API Key.

Okay, I was able to get the add-on to work now. However, I'm really only interested in the sponsored Majestic connector so I'm hoping to get a full refund.
